English: The New Church at 114 East 35th Street between Lexington and Park Avenues in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1858-1859 and was designed by James Hoe. It was expanded in 1866, designed by Gambrill & Post, and renovated in 2002 by Alexander Gorlin. The congregation dates from 1816 when it was the New Jerusalem Church, and follows the teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg. (Source: From Abyssinian to Zion (2004))
